How I tested it
I used this tinted moisturizer for three months and am currently using my second tube.
I normally apply one pump across my entire face using only my fingers. I then apply concealer over the areas where I want additional coverage.
My skin is combination and prone to acne.
Texture and application
The product has a slightly richer, somewhat oily-feeling texture when first dispensed, but it spreads easily across the skin.

I find it quick and simple to blend using my fingers. Once applied, it does not feel heavy, and I do not have the sensation that I am wearing a thick base product.
The pump is convenient and dispenses the product cleanly.
Finish on the skin
The finish looks natural and slightly dewy rather than matte.
It gives the skin a fresh appearance without looking like a heavy foundation. On my skin, the result looks more like lightly improved skin than obvious makeup.
Coverage
The coverage is very light.
It can slightly even out the appearance of the complexion, but it does not cover spots, acne marks, or stronger redness particularly well. I use concealer over it when I need more coverage.
Because this is a tinted moisturizer rather than a foundation, I see the light coverage more as a limitation of the product type than a major flaw.
White cast
I do not notice a white cast when using shade 030N.
Eye irritation
The product has not caused any eye stinging or irritation for me.
Pilling
It generally applies smoothly, but I have experienced pilling when I use it over a thicker layer of hydrating gel.
Using a thinner skincare layer underneath, or allowing the previous product more time to settle, gives me a better result.
Under makeup
The tinted moisturizer works very well with my concealer.
I apply the moisturizer with my fingers and then place concealer only where I need extra coverage. The two products blend together without creating a heavy or cakey finish.
Skincare ingredients
The ingredient list includes ceramide NP, squalane and tocopherol, along with moisturizing ingredients such as propanediol and saccharide isomerate.
The formula also contains fragrance, which may matter to people who prefer fragrance-free facial products.
I am describing the ingredients present in the formula, not claiming that the product will produce a specific skincare result for every user.
Sun-protection limitations
The product is labelled SPF 30, but the protection stated on the packaging depends on applying an adequate and even amount.
I normally use one pump because that is enough for the cosmetic finish I want. However, I have not measured the volume of one pump, and I would not assume that this amount provides the full labelled SPF protection.

For that reason, I treat the SPF in this tinted moisturizer as an additional benefit rather than relying on it as my only sunscreen, particularly when I expect meaningful sun exposure.
Who it may suit
This product may suit someone who wants:
- Very light coverage
- A natural, dewy finish
- A base that feels lightweight
- A product that applies easily with fingers
- A tinted moisturizer that works well with concealer
- An affordable everyday makeup product
Who may want to skip it
It may not be the best option for someone who wants:
- Medium or full coverage
- A matte finish
- A base that covers acne marks without concealer
- A product that can always be layered over thick gel skincare
Final verdict
I would buy the Catrice Skin Like Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 again — and I already have.
I like the natural finish, lightweight feeling, easy application and practical pump packaging. It also works very well as a base for concealer.
Its main limitation is the very light coverage.
For €5.70, I think it is a good everyday tinted moisturizer for someone who prioritizes comfort and a natural finish over coverage.
